SV Offshore Racing Team is based out of Richfield, Wisconsin and was founded during the winter of 2019 By Vinnie Diorio of Richfield, Wisconsin and Simon Prevost of Mirabel, Quebec, Canada. Diorio being already an accomplished racer, holding a World Championship title in 2018, was looking to compete at a higher level. Diorio and Prevost own and operate the 2020 39’ Outerlimits Supercat. They are both proud ambassadors for the Outerlimits Powerboat company based out of Bristol, Rhode Island with full support from the boat manufacture. Diorio and Prevost have the support of all their fellow Outerlimits pleasure boating family. SV Offshore would have never been born without the support of our boating family. We are so grateful to all Outerlimits owners and we hope to make them all proud.
With the development and assembly of the motors by Factory Billet Power and the hull by Outerlimits Powerboats, Diorio and Prevost put together one of the best-built race boats of its time. The 39’ Outerlimits Offshore race boat eventually made its way to AMF Marine Headquarters (renowned Geico Race Team) to get rigged with the latest technology by the AMF Marine Team with collaboration of Steve Curtis and Chris Hanley of ORS (two accomplished racers with plenty of titles).

French Canadian and born and raised in the Montreal area in Quebec, Canada, Simon Prevost is still living on the north shore of Montreal. Prevost previously helped as a crew member for the 29’ Outerlimits that Diorio and Forehand raced. Prevost is the only offshore racer from Quebec and one of the few Canadians that compete at this level.
Diorio began racing at the beginning of the 2018 season when multi world Champion Brian Forehand approached him to race a 29’ Outerlimits race boat with him. Diorio throttled the boat for the entire season with Forehand and they took the World Championship title in Key West, 2018. He continued to race the 2019 season with Forehand winning multiple races throughout the season in 2019. Diorio did not race the 29’ Outerlimits in Key West 2019 because he was ready to race the Supercat class
Diorio owns some of the most well-known trucks in the United States and has taken part in the most prestige Truck Shows in the United States, including the Sema Truck Show, which is held in Las Vegas every year. Diorio has won four National Championships with multiple different trucks through the ATSC circuit with his latest win being in 2018 with his truck “Tough Act To Follow”.
Visit SV Offshore in the pits to see some of the most beautiful semis to ever pull a race boat. Diorio takes pride in his rigs and he does not cut corners when it comes to towing his race boat around the country. Last November Diorio posted a video on Facebook of SV Offshore rollin’ down the road and the video has gotten over 655,000 views.
