Bracket 700 Class St Pete Race Report and Gallery

A number of new boats have joined the class this season, creating increased competition and making them one of the liveliest classes on the schedule.

Three 700 Class boats took to the water in St Pete. A fourth, #733 EnergyAutoFL.com was entered but didn’t start. #742 Offshore Ohmies, with St Petersburg local Joel Murawski on throttles and driven by Ben Osypian of Flagler Beach, FL, made a good showing throughout and received the chequered the flag, but they were later penalised for breaking out of their speed bracket and related to last place (3rd).

  1. 701 Jackhammer took the victory when the official results were announced. Jackhammer is driven by Brian Guy from Bradenton, FL with Nick Imprescia at the throttles. Nick throttled the “Visit St Pete Clearwater/151 Express” 32-foot Phantom to the title in the Mod-V Class in 2021.

Taking second place was St Pete Fire Department/Steele in a 22’ Velocity driven by Ricardo Maldonado and throttled by Cesar Perez.
